Devon Hotel

Dinner was below average, with little depth of flavor and presentation that could use work. It felt like a basic meal rather than something carefully put together. Breakfast was better, with several options and acceptable quality. The menu and execution could improve with some refinement. We stayed on Jan 3rd 2026, when we were the only guests. Devon Hotel is a very new property that seems to be in its early stages of operation. The lack of activity made the atmosphere feel isolated, almost like a “ghost hotel.” Some people may like the complete quiet, but there was little interaction, limited service and not much liveliness. Staff presence was minimal, though staff were polite and responsive when needed. Service seemed tentative, perhaps because the hotel isn't fully operational yet. The hotel itself is clean, modern and well maintained. The rooms have contemporary interiors, comfortable bedding and good hygiene, while the new facilities and furnishings are in good condition. It has potential once fully functional, with more guests and expanded services. For now, it may suit travelers who want cleanliness, new infrastructure and quiet. People after a lively atmosphere or polished hospitality may want to wait until it is fully operational.

We stayed with family on 19-12-2025. The room door lock didn't work properly, and although dinner was complimentary, the food wasn't good. The bathroom wasn't cleaned well and had no dustbin. Room service didn't answer our call, and when we went to reception about these problems, staff were very rude. Water is a basic need, but the hotel doesn't provide free drinking water. They sell bottles, but I feel they could at least give water in a mug in an emergency. Other hotels provide drinking water free of charge, so refusing it here felt wrong. I came from India and found the experience very disappointing. Overall, I didn't like the hotel at all.

The people here made it feel like such a loving place. They treated us with real hospitality and respect. Everything was arranged so nicely, the food was delicious, and the stay felt comfortable. Thank you!

The room was spacious and comfortable enough, and Devon Hotel looks quite modern from outside. But indoors it feels old and dated, and the upkeep was disappointing. The curtains didn't work right, and the balcony hadn't been cleaned well. I found old cigarette filters there, which was unpleasant. Hot water also didn't work properly during my stay. The place has potential, but cleanliness and maintenance need improvement.
