Cloud Inn Kandy

We arrived at almost midnight, much later than expected, but the staff greeted us warmly and got a spotless, cozy room ready quickly. They took great care to make sure we were comfortable, and the service was amazing. The price was incredibly affordable too, making it excellent value. A real gem, highly recommended for friendly service and good accommodation on a budget.

The balcony and room were so comfortable, and the balcony made us feel surrounded by nature. We only spent one night, but it was an amazing stay. The host worked hard to make us comfortable and was so kind that, cheesy as it sounds, he made us feel like part of his family. Breakfast was a traditional Sri Lankan meal. He explained each dish and how to eat it the Sri Lankan way. Really glad we stayed.

Cloud inn was clean, easy, and good value. It's just outside the busy city, with nice views and monkeys visiting in the morning. The owner was relaxed and helpful, and his family were lovely.

The shower pressure was so low that I couldn't decide whether to use the faucet or the shower head 😂. The bed also made noise when I moved around in my sleep. The sheets were filthy, and it's unclear when they were last changed. The towels were in a similar state, possibly because they're old. I know this is only a guest house, but these things still need attention. Bring an adapter if your charger isn't type C or D.
