Linda Cottage

It’s a 150-year-old home with four generations of personality, and the family are so friendly. I loved staying here. The room near the kitchen atrium pond is set a little apart from the living area, and its mosquito net covers the bed. Laundry is available for a very small fee. The town centre and restaurants are close by. There’s no air conditioning, but the fan was fine.

Such a kind, lovely woman. Our last day was really chaotic, and she helped us so much, making it a lot better.

Linda was a great host, and her place is spotless. The location is just right. The room has a big fan and doesn’t get too hot. Thanks, Linda, see you in a week or so ❤️

We had a clean room and shared bathroom, plus plugs beside one side of the bed and a small table for our phones. Linda was kind and let us use the kettle when I asked. Still, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Our room was between the kitchen and living room, so there was no privacy. We had to cross the whole living area to reach the restroom, and someone always seemed to be there when we came out. The mosquito net was made for a single bed and didn’t cover the double, so I woke up with lots of bites. There wasn’t any repellent either. Their dog barked and growled much of the time, whenever it saw people, and there were lots of people coming and going. It was hard to relax or sleep, with people walking to the bathroom and talking as well as the dog barking. We barely slept. There are other places at a similar price, and this wasn’t worth the bites and lack of sleep.
