I travel a lot and have a good sense of what hospitality can be like, having lived in Las Vegas, USA, the sleepless “Sin City.” I’m both an American citizen and Sri Lankan, and my recent leisure trip to the southern beaches included a stay at Moon and Back Homestay in Galle. It really stood out. Check-in was quick and easy, with a friendly welcome. The room was clean, cozy, and well kept, with brand-new appliances, strong air conditioning, hot water, and a spotless, fresh bathroom. For a homestay, the amenities were top-class: free parking in a very secure area and fast, reliable Wi-Fi throughout my stay. The location was convenient for getting to the beach, Galle Fort, and town. Mr. Lanka was a kind, intelligent, knowledgeable host who knew Galle city well and made the stay more enjoyable. It was well worth the money, and I’d definitely stay again and recommend Moon and Back Homestay to anyone visiting Galle.

Lanka made everything easy by arranging the local activities I was interested in, from surfing and diving to historical tours of the Old Dutch Fort. His recommendations and organization were second to none, and he was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. Moon and Back Homestay was peaceful, immaculate, and genuinely friendly, a quiet place to return to after a day of adventure. I had a fantastic stay that exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. I can’t wait to come back.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the location felt both convenient and peaceful. I stayed at Moon & Back Hotel for three days. My room was quiet and relaxing, with a calm, cozy feel, lovely natural light, a comfortable bed, and simple but elegant design. It was clean and spacious, with the essentials like air conditioning, a desk, and good lighting. Everything seemed thoughtfully arranged and well maintained. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable place to relax. I’d definitely return.
