Sand Cliff Villa

We were eight women staying at Sand Cliff Villa in Galle for five days while working nearby. It’s easy to find and close to the main road. The house matched its Google pictures and had four clean, air-conditioned rooms, a shared kitchen with basic utensils and a fridge, a dining space, and a living area. The washing machine, drying rack, hangers, and iron were especially useful for a longer stay. There’s also a small garden and a front veranda with chairs where we could sit and chat. Rooms 1, 2, and 3 have attached bathrooms. Room 4 uses a separate bathroom, which was spacious, very clean, and well maintained. Rooms 2 and 3 seemed a little more upgraded. The housekeeper was respectful and professional, and gave us privacy to use the place as our own. The owner was humble, professional, and easy to reach. He patiently helped with our specific work needs and made everything straightforward. This isn’t a luxury stay with fancy furniture or scenic views, but it felt warm and safe, and gave us our own space for work and downtime. It suited our group well and was worth the money.

The villa was exceptionally clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed. We spent a week there, enjoyed ourselves, and were able to relax. It’s in a safe spot near the main road, so getting around was easy. I’d recommend it for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The owner gave us helpful recommendations, and the service was great from the start. We booked at 10:30pm on a Sunday night, and the process still went smoothly. Breakfast was generous on both days, with plenty to eat. The villa was a great find for our family with children. It’s private and clean, has all the amenities, and the rooms and location were excellent. Hats off, keep up the good work!

The calm atmosphere and handy spot for exploring Galle and the beaches made Sand Cliff Villa a great place to stay. Our room was tidy and comfortable, and the shared areas were kept up well. The team was attentive without getting in the way. Good value, and I’d happily return.
