We had lovely views of the misty mountains, and it’s just a 10-minute walk up the hill to busy Ella town. A cold beer waiting in the fridge when we arrived was a great start. Breakfast was delicious, and the host was helpful while still giving us our own space. Great room, location and host. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

The view was amazing, and the village center is less than a 10-minute walk away. We spent two nights here and had a perfect stay. The host and the guys were very nice and available, and their laundry service was good. Definitely worth visiting!

The only thing I felt the room needed was an extra cupboard. The view was breathtaking, and the breakfast really was the best we had in all of Sri Lanka.

The bathroom was clean and huge, with good water pressure, but it’s a wet bath and the floor got really slippery when wet. That could be seriously dangerous. The room was also the dampest we’ve ever stayed in. We ran the AC on dehumidifier mode and blasted the standing fan, but nothing dried overnight. On our last night, smoke from something burning nearby came in through the bathroom vents and filled the room. We slept OK otherwise. Breakfast was delicious, with peaceful mountain views, though insects kept getting in the way while we were trying to reach the food. Service was friendly, but when we asked about laundry on WhatsApp, we didn’t get a reply. Wifi was spotty, and my mobile data was similar, probably because of the mountain location. It’s very close to town, less than a five-minute drive after walking down the rocky slopes to the main road. The 9 arch bridge and Little Adam's Peak are also a short drive away.

The waterfall view made breakfast unforgettable, and it was easily the best we had. What a lovely view and kind host. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
