The meals were excellent and came with plenty of choices. From arrival to departure the service was exceptional, with courteous, professional staff who were always happy to help. The place was calm and inviting, and both the rooms and the property were spacious, comfortable, spotless, and well maintained. I’d highly recommend it for a great stay and service, and hope to visit again.

The view of the ocean is breathtaking, especially when it catches the moonlight at night or the sun during the day. In the morning, the water is so clear you can spot sea turtles and bright, colourful fish. It was a beautiful, peaceful experience, and my family loved our one-night stay. The service was excellent and the food delicious. I highly recommend visiting ❤️❤️❤️

The pool was a hit with our children, and it made for a lovely place to relax together as a family. Indu, the manager, was incredibly kind and attentive, taking great care of everything to make us comfortable. The whole team was welcoming, friendly, and ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was delicious, and the clean, spacious rooms were well maintained. We had a wonderful stay at Culture Resort and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Thanks to everyone for the warm hospitality and for making our visit so memorable.

Our family loved spending three days at Culture Resort in Matara. The third-floor restaurant was a highlight, with a wonderful view of Matara beach, the palm trees, and the blue ocean. Breakfast and service were high quality, with tasty Western choices as well as a traditional Sri Lankan spread, plus fresh juice and fruit that changed each morning. The boutique hotel has a peaceful feel, away from the bustle of Beach Road, and offers a sturdy hammock, a pool, and free yoga classes. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in a mix of modern and vintage styles. It’s also a short walk to Polhena beach, and the service was great.

The views are to die for, and the staff felt more like friends doing me favours, always making sure I could relax. I spent two days here, and it felt like my battery went from 22% to 97%. It’s a cosy, homely little paradise within easy reach of lots of tourist must-visits. The team seemed understanding, mature, and responsible. My only regret is that I was caught up coding and got to the BBQ a bit late. They served it late and waited for me before closing up. Highly recommend.
