The rooftop was a lovely bonus, and the rooms were spacious and very clean. Bathrooms were cleaned every day, there were mosquito nets, the AC worked well, and we could use the washing machine for free. Laki was a caring, helpful host who arranged trips and transport for me and my friends. He also welcomed all the guests to dinner at his home. A really lovely place, and Laki and his family are very nice.

The rooftop terrace has a gorgeous view, and the place has a comfortable, social feel. I spent about two weeks there and had a great time. Laki and Rohini were so friendly, gave us helpful recommendations, and even invited everyone over for dinner.

The rooftop and kitchen windows have amazing views, and the location made it easy to get to both Galle and Karapitiya. We spent five great weeks with Laki and Rohini. Right away, Laki showed us a popular restaurant in Galle Fort, which set a welcoming tone for the stay. He knew so much about Galle and life in Sri Lanka, and was always ready to help sort out any problems. It got very hot, so paying extra for the AC room was definitely worthwhile. We’d happily recommend staying here.
