Villa Aroshina

You get a lovely local experience here, and the food is made by hand using local traditions. There’s a wide variety, everything is prepared cleanly and cooked to perfection. The stay was incredible too, with cooling fans and all the amenities needed. It’s a warm place to stay and gives you a glimpse of how a local Sri Lankan family lives. Aroshina is amazing, works hard, and is a beautiful person. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Aroshina and her family were so kind and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the cooking class was incredible, with so much food and a great look into Sri Lankan cooking and daily life. Such a beautiful stay in Galle. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Staying in a local family home made us feel so welcome and gave us a real glimpse of life in Sri Lanka. Aroshina and her family were wonderful and helpful. They picked us up at the train station in Galle and gave us tuk tuk rides to and from the Galle Fort area, which made things so easy. We also had a lot of fun in the cooking class. And the monkeys in the trees around the property were truly magical. Definitely recommend staying at Aroshina’s!

Aroshina prepared us the best local breakfast and cooking class, and shared so many stories about herself and local people in Sri Lanka. You’re a strong woman who treated us like family, and you deserve the highest respect. Dulani, thanks for the creative card, the flowers, and for staying up late with us. You’re a wonderful girl and such a great help to your mother, haha. Manju, our friend, was always friendly, took us around Galle and wherever we wanted to visit, and shared and recommended local things. We loved having lunch together at local restaurants. Thank you all for everything. Our Sri Lankan family is the best. Please come to Villa Aroshina if you visit Galle!
