I can’t trust these owners at all. Just two days after confirming my booking, the owner cancelled it without giving any solid reason. I had reserved four rooms, and that irresponsible behavior was completely unacceptable.

We loved their pets, and the breakfast spread was good. Just be aware that lunch and dinner need to be requested three hours ahead. It would be helpful if they could make simple things like bread or eggs on shorter notice. The food was excellent, but too salty for us.

A peaceful place for a quiet break, with a kind, accommodating family running it. Breakfasts are great, the beach is a short distance away, and Galle isn’t far either. I’d strongly recommend staying here if you want somewhere pleasant away from the bustle of the tourist scene.

The cabana sits at the back of a friendly family’s garden, and they’re always ready to help. A traditional Sri Lankan breakfast is included and was good. It’s a little out of the way, with the nearest beach a few minutes on foot. For swimming, you’ll need to walk about 15 minutes farther. The village is small, easy to reach by train, and has only a few restaurants. I liked that it gave a better feel for local life in Sri Lanka than the much larger tourist towns along the coast.

Lime Cabanas is in a good location, quieter but still easy to get around from. The accommodation was excellent, and the staff were great. Nothing was a problem for him, and he always tried to help in any situation. A good choice if you want somewhere peaceful with easy access to places.
