The kitchen staff ladies were helpful and willing to assist, so they get the extra star. But after coming back for the first time in two years, I won’t book this property again. It advertises itself as luxurious and eco-friendly, but it’s neither. What used to be a pleasant hotel surrounded by greenery is now greenery hemmed in by apartment blocks. I don’t understand the owners’ vision. They’ve ruined what was once a charming place. There’s another building going up next door, with construction machinery audible from 8 a.m. The booking process didn’t mention it. The pool had sediment floating in it, probably from the nearby construction site. For a hotel with around 50 rooms, parking for just five cars is a problem. At 8 a.m., staff may ask you to move your car because another guest can’t get out. In our room, the pillowcases had mold stains, cockroaches ran around the so-called kitchenette, and there wasn’t even a bar of soap in the bathroom. Our rooms also weren’t cleaned during our three-day stay. The kitchenette had only a refrigerator, kettle, and knife, so I don’t understand the point of having a kitchen area with almost no equipment. Edit: I lowered the rating to one star after the aggressive response. The hotel seems to attack people who leave negative reviews. I don’t recommend it.

The garden is lovely, full of greenery and very quiet. We spent little time at the hotel during the day, so the construction there didn’t affect our stay much. The hotel also arranged transfers to and from the airport, and we rented a bike there without collateral or a deposit. We stayed for more than two weeks and were very comfortable. Any issue was dealt with right away. The rooms are big and clean. Only soap is provided, but we found shower gel and shampoo at a very reasonable price in the supermarket. Breakfast was fine, with enough savory options even if the selection wasn’t huge. I’d recommend the hotel, the price and quality are exceptional.

The breakfast buffet was delicious every morning, and the bathroom was huge, with one of the best showers I had in Sri Lanka. The bedroom was gorgeous, the bed super comfy, and the hotel is beautifully managed. Loved this place, highly recommend it.

We loved our room, and the property was clean and neat. We made a last-minute birthday plan, and the staff surprised us with a cake and lovely decorations. Such a sweet gesture. It was very reasonably priced and worth what we paid. The reception staff were so welcoming. We’ll definitely come again with our cousins. Highly recommended.

This was our second time here, and we had a lovely 10-night stay. It’s a little outside the busy area, which suited us perfectly since we had our own tuk-tuk. The place is between the famous beaches of Unawatuna and Weligamma. Breakfast is a bit simple, but not bad at all.
