The family running the place are really friendly, and we had a great time. The rooms have everything you need. Breakfast is Sri Lankan, so be ready for curry in the morning ;) We liked the sounds of children or drums in the morning, though light sleepers might wake up to them.

It's a cheap option for the area, so it was sort of okay, but I'd look elsewhere for a more relaxed stay. The place is on the busy little road between Hiriketiya and Dickwella, with TukTuks and other vehicles making a lot of noise, sometimes until 2am. Its main advantage is that you can walk to both beaches. The room was adequate and relatively clean, but not completely. WiFi was weak or sometimes unavailable. Helena was friendly enough and suggested places to visit. The home-cooked breakfast disappointed us on both mornings, though. It wasn't the wonderful food described in other reviews. Maybe we just got unlucky 🤔.

The owners were amazing and so kind, and made us feel really welcome. It's a good, inexpensive place to stay, with an easy walk to the beach and restaurants.

We never stayed here, but came for breakfast several times during our visit. The local food was amazing and a great price, especially the best coconut pancakes we tried 🫶🏼. The owners are so friendly ❤️. Please visit them, as they have only just opened!
