The Romance Valley

The bedrooms are all designed to take in the view, and the hilltop architecture concept is great. Staff were very attentive, the food was great, and the setting had a lovely ambience. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a private pool, while the large main pool was also nice and had no one looking in. The hotel is very stylish, with a great view of Knuckles hills and the southern plains below Haputale's clouds. The dining room felt opulent, and our food was specially prepared.

The staff were very attentive and helped us plan our itinerary for three nights. You'll want at least two nights to see the surrounding area. Our room had a stunning view, and the architect deserves credit for it. They also arranged a Sri Lanka cooking experience and showed us how to make Sri Lanka curries. The food was beautifully presented. We had a wonderful stay at Romance Valley. Thank you.

The infinity pool looking out over the mountains was a highlight, as was the property's design, which frames the scenery from every angle. We stayed two nights with six families and had an unforgettable time. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows across 180 degrees, so it felt like we were right in nature. Watching the sunrise over the distant mountains was magical. The area is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by greenery and rolling hills, a welcome break from city life. The food was outstanding, with Sri Lankan, Indian, Chinese, and Western choices. Hats off to the chef and team for the variety and quality. Romance Valley is a great choice for a peaceful, scenic, luxurious getaway, and we'd highly recommend it.
