Tea Hills Bungalow

Set among beautiful tea fields, this was a lovely place to pause between Kandy and Ella. It's an easy walk from the train station, and the rooms, food and service were all excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Sam was especially lovely and great at his job. I can't think of a single bad thing to say. A must-see in Sri Lanka, or you'll miss out.

We had a fantastic stay, thanks in large part to a genuinely welcoming team. The staff were always kind and made sure we had what we needed. They even went out of their way to handle a special request, which made the visit more memorable. The food was another highlight, with plenty of delicious choices. I'd highly recommend this place for its warm atmosphere and excellent service.

The views were incredible, changing from mist in the morning to green hills in the afternoon and quiet evenings. Staying here made us feel part of the tea country. The rooms are spacious and carefully kept, with big windows overlooking the landscape. Inside, colonial charm and modern comfort work well together, and everything feels clean, calm and understated. What sets Tea Hills Bungalow apart is the way the staff look after you. They're attentive without hovering, and warm without making it feel put on. They seem to know what guests might need, but nothing is rushed or scripted. The whole place feels peaceful and grounding, with space and quiet as part of the comfort.

A calm, quiet place with very friendly and supportive staff. The food was delicious, our room was clean, and the bathroom had plenty of space. I only wish the shower cubicle were a little bigger. Everything else was fine during our stay. It's a marvellous place, and I highly recommend checking it out.
