We stayed almost two weeks. The internet was good, but there’s no generator if the power goes out. There’s a river near the villa, though swimming isn’t possible since you can’t even get into it without scraping your feet on the sharp shells and rocks.

The beach is about 10 minutes away, and it’s not crowded, with several really good restaurants at nice prices. The villa has a nice view at the back, parking, air conditioning, and a good kitchen with a gas oven and fridge. The owners are kind and hospitable. It’s a calm, quiet place, and I’d recommend staying here. There’s no washing machine or dryer. Getting to the beach means crossing a crazy road where buses and trucks go faster than 70 km/h. That’s not the villa’s fault, though, it’s like that everywhere in Sri Lanka.
