The villa felt new, with a clean, modern look and tasteful themed decor in mostly white tones. It was calm and relaxing throughout. The rooms were bright, airy, and spacious, with big comfortable beds and private balconies. Everything was spotless, and they cleaned regularly. There were lots of places to unwind, a well-equipped kitchen, a wonderful pool, and even a whole separate floor for yoga. The breakfasts were generous and delicious: fresh fruit, coconut pancakes, toast, and jams, all made with care. One especially memorable part was the monkey family living nearby. They came over to join us for breakfast in the mornings, and we were able to feed them. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. Special thanks to the owner’s son, Demanka, who was always available and helped with everything during our stay. He was attentive, kind, and truly hospitable. We left with lovely memories, will recommend the villa to friends, and would happily return.

Jippie The Villa was just what we wanted in Hikkaduwa. It’s set back from the busy street, which we appreciated, but still close to the main road and within walking distance of everything. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the pool was great. The owner was thoughtful, so nice, and ready to help with anything we could think of. We couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The owner was really nice and checked each day that everything was all right. He was very helpful when I lost my necklace, searching for it several times until he found it. The rooms were nice too. We fully recommend staying at Jippie The Villa :))

A very peaceful villa, just off the main road, with the beach and food less than a five-minute walk away. The pool was very clean, with plenty of seating beside it. Rooms are huge, bright, and recently painted, with a lovely finish. The bathroom was spotless, and the modern shower had hot water and great pressure. It’s clean and modern throughout. I’d strongly recommend it for a relaxing break!

I first stumbled on this guesthouse two years ago when I arrived in Hikkaduwa without anywhere to stay. This was my second visit, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. It's tucked beside the jungle, peaceful enough to unwind and sometimes spot monkeys in the trees. The beach and town centre, with plenty of cafes and restaurants, are a pleasant five-minute walk away. Rooms are practical and tastefully furnished, with lovely terraces, hot showers and effective A/C. There's also a well-kept pool, and the staff are kind and helpful. Thanks, Dima, nicely done.
