We spent three months at Om villa and it worked perfectly for our family of four. We rented just the first floor, with two bedrooms for us and the kids, three tables so everyone could work, and a big kitchen that was ready for full-time cooking. There was also a cosy living room and a large table outside, plus a great swimming pool. The hosts speaks English perfectly. A lake nearby has boats for rent, and Wok cafe is about 10 minutes away. We ordered food there and thought it was the greatest place in Hilla. The closest supermarket is a five-minute walk, and the beach is about the same distance. There's a railway on the way, though, and that beach is for walking rather than swimming. We travel all over the world, and Om Villa is the best place we've ever stayed. We'd love to come back.

Chamara was so friendly and attentive, always ready to help and kept everything clean. We really felt at home here, easily one of the best places to stay. The rooms are nice and have balconies, and every room has A/C. Both floors have a kitchen and shared bathrooms. The beach and Food City shop are about a five-minute walk, and Hikkaduwa centre is three minutes away by tuk-tuk.

The pool is a nice place to chill, and the whole setting is great for relaxing and enjoying yourself. Friendly service and a lovely environment make it feel just like home.
