The Sri Lankan breakfast made our mornings. The caretaker prepared an authentic, delicious meal with real care, and their warmth and generosity added even more to it. PJ’s was clean, comfortable, and charming, with a welcoming feel and thoughtful personal touches that made our visit to Hikkaduwa memorable. We'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a warm place to stay.

Everything felt perfect at this peaceful, beautiful villa. We had the pool, canoe, and lovely animals to ourselves. One of the best private villas we've stayed at on our travels, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting some time in a stunning, quiet spot. ✨🫶🏾

I had a wonderful weekend at PJ’s Villa in Hikkaduwa. It was so calm and peaceful, just right for relaxing, and the villa was neat, tidy, and exceptionally clean. The caretaker gave outstanding service throughout, and the management was excellent. Highly recommend!

The caretaker was a huge help, kept the property spotless, and even brought us lunch from a nearby shop. At night, with their help, we had a BBQ in the lovely common area, which has covered dining, comfortable seats, and poolside loungers. The kitchen had everything, including a fridge, stove, and utensils. We also had a great time rowing the free little two-person boat in Hikkaduwa Lagoon, which would have cost a lot elsewhere. The bathrooms were a standout, open to the trees and giving an outdoor shower feel. The small pool was decent, though it could have been a bit cleaner. We had two clean, tidy, air-conditioned rooms facing the garden and pool, one with an attached bathroom and one with a shared one. The small bookshelf in the rooms was a nice touch. The property is private, secure, and well maintained, just a few minutes from Hikkaduwa Railway Station. We contacted the owner on WhatsApp, and he was professional and friendly, with a great rate. The caretaker was helpful in lots of ways. An underrated stay that exceeded our expectations. Good for two couples or a small family, and we'll definitely return.
