The staff, food, and prices are all reasons I love Buddha’s Beach Restaurant. The team is wonderful, the food is delicious, and prices are very reasonable compared with many other spots along the coast. I first came with my wife in 2016 and 2017, then returned in 2026 with my son. After eight years, it was incredibly heartwarming to see my friends again, meaning the staff who have always made this place special. I keep choosing to stay by this beach because it's one of the best locations in Hikkaduwa. The beach is amazing for swimming, with no reefs and great conditions, so guests from neighboring hotels come here too. Thank you to the whole team. Wishing you continued success, prosperity, and lots of happy guests. ❤️

We were here very recently, and it’s a great holiday choice if you want a lovely beach view and good surfing spots. The food is quite good and reasonably priced. They’ve also recently built new rooms that are comfortable and well maintained, and there’s parking. Highly recommend for locals and foreigners alike.

Right on the beach, this is a great place for a sunset beer. Happy hour has drinks at a nicely reduced price, and the staff are first class, especially Kosta.

I stayed a few nights right on the beach. The sea view was good, the food was good, and the staff and owner were very kind. Comfortable stay and good value for money. Everything felt perfect here, and I'll definitely stay and visit again. Guys, you must visit.
