You can walk to restaurants, bars, and the famous Hikkaduwa beach in about 10 minutes. Back at the villa there’s a pool, outdoor kitchen, and big garden, with plenty of room in the nicely decorated deluxe rooms and suites. It’s a spacious, beautiful place. In the morning, small friendly monkeys may be playing in the trees. My best recommendations to Silence Garden, its owner Robert, and cute dog Atze.

Robert and his staff were incredibly helpful, with advice about scooters, local sights, and getting to the airport. We had a healthy breakfast each morning, and the villa was beautifully furnished with a fantastic pool in peaceful surroundings. The location is great too, within walking distance of lovely beaches, restaurants, and bars. Looking forward to coming back.

The owner and staff were all friendly and helpful, and I’d happily recommend this place. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. It’s a quiet spot near the jungle, with lots of animal and bird sounds, and the beach is only about a 10-minute walk away.

Eating and doing yoga in the garden, with all the animal sounds around, was so pleasant. It’s set away from the main road, and the quiet really suits the name. Plants fill the garden, and colorful birds and squirrels often visit. The rooms were spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. I stayed for 12 days while having Ayurvedic treatments. The owner and staff were very kind and always checked that we were comfortable. I left feeling refreshed. It was so comfortable I wanted to stay forever, and I highly recommend it for a relaxing time in Hikkaduwa!
