Hikka Urban Stay

The room was stuffy and damp, with a musty smell, and there was no trash bin. I put my rubbish in a bag outside the door, then was told three containers would be brought later and I’d need to sort it. The stairs to the rooms upstairs are narrow and very steep, so carrying suitcases up would be difficult. There was no street-facing window, just one onto the hallway, and no toilet paper or toiletries. They said toilet paper usually isn’t provided; later they brought a pack of napkins, then the next day asked for the rest back, saying, “I already bought my own.” I arrived at 3:00 AM, even though my check-in time had been noon the previous day, and they were still finishing the room in front of me. At 7:00 AM someone came saying I must have left my phone in the room, which turned out not to be true. I’ve described exactly what happened. The service felt a bit off, and I don’t recommend this place.
