The pool is spacious and open for guests to use whenever they like, and monkeys came by at least twice a day. The hosts kept treating us to tasty local food at no extra cost. We felt completely at home here, thanks to their wonderful hospitality, and will definitely return.

Breakfast was plentiful, and there was room to prepare our own food too. We stayed with our four teenage children and had everything we needed, including huge, comfortable beds. The villa is surrounded by nature and set away from the busy main road, yet beaches and buses to Galle and elsewhere are an easy walk away. Lovely hosts.

We had a calm, quiet day here with monkeys visiting, and parking was available. The owners were especially friendly and served us a delicious breakfast. Our family enjoyed the whole stay, from the clean, spacious rooms to the lovely clean pool. We'd definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The food and hospitality made our holiday at Villa Hikkaduwa feel like staying with family. We were a group of friends, and the whole experience was memorable, with everything turning out better than we expected. A warm, welcoming place that we'd happily recommend.

We booked a week ahead and got confirmation, but on the day we couldn't reach them by phone. Just two hours before check-in, they messaged to say the villa was closed that day for electrical repairs. A really bad experience, and completely unprofessional.
