The second room we were moved to was filthy, the dirtiest I’ve ever stayed in, so we left that night and found somewhere else. They still refused to refund the second day, which caused us a lot of trouble. The problems started earlier: on arrival, the manager asked us to pay the full two-day booking, then after the first day Lakshmi charged extra for air conditioning. We’d been given a basic room with a very bad bathroom, and on the second day they said we had to switch because the room had already been booked. I regret choosing this inn. The service was very disappointing, and I can’t recommend staying here.

I felt uneasy staying here. The inn is an old house converted into rooms, with doors that don’t close properly and partitions made from boards. For the price, there are many cheaper places that seem safer. I wouldn’t consider this a safe place to stay.

We ended up leaving at 11 pm to find somewhere better at a fair price. Before we arrived there had been big promises, but the stay was a letdown: cleaning was poor, the service felt disrespectful, and prices went up unfairly. Ms. Laksmi, the manager, made the experience especially unpleasant. It’s sad to feel that customers are being cheated.

Loved the vintage feel of the place, and we had a great weekend here.

We booked for two days with family and had a lovely stay. The service was good, it felt safe, and the place was lovely. Thank you for the room service.
