The location suited me perfectly, close enough to town but far enough out to enjoy nature, birds, and lovely views from the rooftop terrace. We stayed for three days and found the hospitality and quality exceptional. Breakfast and dinner were included, and we were very happy with the food and tea. They also sell tea directly from the tea factory. :)

From the lookout platform, the views over the sea, river, and nearby Buddhist temple were incredible. The property sits beside the river, and its modern rooms were clean, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. Thusitha and her son were wonderfully hospitable and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Their home grown tea was very good too, and you can buy their locally packaged product here.

The garden made for a quiet, green retreat, and being right in town made it easy to get around. Velapura River Garden is tucked just away from the main bustle, so we had a peaceful feel while still being close to local shops and amenities. Our room was clean and comfortable, and free parking on site was a real plus when we arrived by car. A pleasant stay in a superb little spot for a convenient, tranquil getaway.

The garden surroundings were peaceful and refreshing, and the rooms and bathrooms were spotless and well maintained. I stayed here with my family and we had a wonderful experience.
