Waking up to the surrounding scenery was a highlight. The lush mountains and pristine lakes made the place feel like a postcard, and the landscape really added to my stay. My room and the shared spaces were spotless, with the whole property clearly well maintained. The staff made a strong impression too. I was welcomed warmly, and everyone seemed to care about making the visit memorable. The concierge knew a lot and gave me great suggestions for local activities and places to eat. The food at the on-site dining options was delicious, and the spa was a welcome way to unwind after exploring. I also appreciated their commitment to sustainability. I had a wonderful stay from beginning to end and would happily recommend this luxurious, immersive retreat. I can't wait to return for more memories.

The owners seemed unhappy when we returned at 22, and we were charged the same for the room we had to switch out of after the first night. On arrival, they'd given our room to someone else who had asked for it, so we spent that first night in a room without air conditioning and moved the next day. We also felt the owners tried several times to sell us a tuk tuk trip around the city. The drivers they arranged took us toward places other than the ones we'd agreed on, which was very disappointing. It seemed clear to us there was a deal, and we'd read similar accounts from others. The location is about 20 minutes by tuk tuk from the city, costing 400-500 rupees. The place itself is beautiful, with an outstanding view, clean rooms, and a good breakfast at 4$ per person.

The view is breathtaking, and the place is extremely clean. It’s a family hotel run by a friendly local couple. If the shower had stronger water pressure, I’d happily give it another star.

Lovely view, really good breakfast, and great people. Just keep in mind it’s not very accessible by van.
