Service was quick and the staff were so friendly and attentive, always making an effort to keep me comfortable. I had a fantastic stay at Araliya Holiday Bungalow. My room was clean, well kept, and had all the amenities I needed.

The bathrooms were filthy, with green? No, not green, the source says very dirty, and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There was a bad smell throughout the villa, the hot water wasn't working, and the cleaning and management were poor. We booked two days over our Christmas holiday in 2024, but left within 24 hours and went home without finishing our trip. The owner seemed interested only in the money, with no real service. I checked the reviews afterward and saw that they were very old, around six or seven years. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We found it a comfortable, homey place, and the room was cozy. It looks just like the photos, and the bathroom was neat and very clean. The owner may take you to the nearby pool for free if you're nice to him :-) Breakfast could've been better, but we weren't complaining. I'd recommend it for a pleasant stay.

The views are good and the staff are friendly, but poor service and dated, low-quality accommodation spoiled the stay. The kitchen was extremely dirty and full of ants. They switch off the fridge and even the WiFi when you leave, and they stay off unless the owners are around. The owners asked for payment upfront before offering us a welcome drink or showing us our room. We left early. The Jungle View Hanthana across town is much better and cheaper.

A quiet road not far from town, with a lovely view from the balcony. The rooms are cozy, and the owner is very friendly.
