Cinnamon Air made getting here effortless, and the whole property has a quiet, refined feel. It’s surrounded by greenery and only a short walk from the golf course. The colonial-style architecture brings to mind the elegance of old English Ceylon, while history, comfort, and hospitality all come together here. At Clingendael Hotel, Kandy, the quality and attention to detail were outstanding. Every corner has charm, and the service was impeccable. It was truly worth every penny, a rare gem.

A quiet, scenic setting makes this hotel a lovely break from busy city life, and the overall experience felt truly exceptional. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our elegant room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and memorable stay in Digana.

The hotel’s location is quite isolated, but that didn’t cause trouble for us since we’d arranged our tours and everything else before arriving in Sri Lanka. We were out most of the time, and it was nice to return to the hotel’s comforts at the end of the day. I stayed two nights and enjoyed both the facilities and the staff’s willingness to help. The Wi-Fi was a little wonky, though it worked most of the time without any issue.

It’s near Victoria golf club. The hotel is just 6 km from Digana town, but the drive took about 30 minutes.

They seem to treat tourists differently because they see the money. The staff's attitude toward local guests was really bad.
