We were extremely disappointed. We booked Forest Villa Hotel in Kandy and paid an advance, but when we called to confirm our arrival for the next day, they said the whole place had been booked through Booking.com and they couldn’t host us. That felt very unprofessional and showed a lack of responsibility. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone because of the poor service.

The hot water barely worked, and when I turned it on, the washroom light started blinking. The bedsheets were disgusting, so I had to switch rooms, but the second one wasn’t much better and had a cockroach. Total disaster, wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Nice clean rooms and good value for the price. The rooftop has a great view, and the customer service was great too. Since the place is up on a hill, you’ll need a three wheeler to get there.

A calm, safe place to stay, with very friendly hotel owners and great service from the staff. Highly recommended.

We went on Perahara day and, after calling five or six places, this was the most affordable option I could find for a family of five. Raja was really helpful. If you’re planning to go, contact Raja first, and he’ll arrange everything accordingly.
