The rooms are comfortable and nice, and there’s a good view on the way into the center. It’s a bit outside town, but people who don’t mind walking can manage the distance. The owner is a polite, helpful Sri Lankan woman with a big smile. Still, honestly, you feel like a walk-in source of money. Tuk-tuk drivers will charge you 200 rupees, five times the local fare.

The host was nice, helpful, and responsive. It’s a new place with a nice view, and the hot water worked well. But there were bugs everywhere, and it was very humid. Mold was already starting on the ceiling even though the place was new. There’s no way to air it out without letting in even more bugs. It’s a little outside downtown Kandy, around 100-200 rupees per tuk-tuk ride depending on how well you bargain.

We had a nice stay at this homestay. The family were friendly and helpful the whole time. Our room was clean and comfortable, the shower was warm, and we slept well in this quiet part of town.

The people here are lovely and speak English really well. This is the nicest guesthouse I've stayed at in Sri Lanka so far.
