La Colina stood out among the many places I’ve tried on my multiple visits to Kandy. It’s new, reasonably priced, and I had a wonderful time there. The rooms were spotless, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the view was great. The staff were friendly and professional too. I’d happily return and recommend it.

We wished we could’ve stayed longer than our two nights at this beautiful, comfortable family-run B&B. From the terrace, we loved winding down with a cold beer, the city lights, and stars after a day out. La Colina B&B sits among exotic forest with great hilltop views. It’s about a 10-minute TukTuk ride to the city, where nearby activities are easy to reach. Our host Ramiro was always attentive and helpful, sharing what to see and do and how to get around. He helped arrange a TuKTuk to town for 150-200 LKR. The trip back costs a bit more, around 400-500 L KR, which is the normal price.

The room’s basic and simple, but it has what you need. The host is a really nice guy who does his best to help. He made us lunch when we first arrived and tea every day. His tea is wicked! It’s a little outside the city, but taking a tuk tuk into town is very cheap. Definitely worth the money!

Our room was clean, and the view from it was lovely. Breakfast was the best. We got good value for money, and the location worked well. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and sorted out all our requests without any fuss. Highly recommend.
