We woke to tropical birdsong and saw monkeys on the balconies outside, since the house is right beside a jungle. The staff were lovely and carried our luggage up the several flights of stairs to reach the house. The owner was very friendly and shared several tips during our stay. It's a beautiful home overlooking the city. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, toast, butter and jam, eggs, and coffee. I'd definitely recommend staying here in Kandy.

I really enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing stay and thought it was good value for money. The owner lady herself cooked a decent breakfast. From the terrace, there was a lovely view of Knuckle Range, with lush greenery all around. The homestay is in the middle of a conversation park, so you might spot animals through the open windows. It's only two Kms from the Lake and temple of sacred tooth, and I enjoyed walking back there with my wife each time.

From the balcony, you can see the mountains and river. The property is 800 m from the National Museum of Kandy and 900 m from Sri Dalada Maligawa. The location worked well, and being able to arrange a local driver was really helpful. The owner lives in the villa with his family and made a good effort to keep us comfortable. There are quite a lot of security cameras.
