If you want a quiet break and a chance to switch off, this is a lovely choice. The WiFi worked very well around the hotel. It’s not the place for clubbing or walking to bars and restaurants. You can go out, but Kandy is your best bet. We loved the spa, and I had several massages and Ayurvedic treatments. My friend practically lived there. We were part of a larger group doing yoga and breathwork with our lovely guides in the big top-floor studio, which has the best view. We peeked into most rooms, each named and styled around Ayurvedic elements, and liked them all. The staff were incredibly friendly. Zlata, the owner, showed us around the extensive garden and explained the herbs and plants. They also make their own Ayurvedic supplements. The hotel sits beautifully among the hills, with a comfortable, luxurious feel that still lets you enjoy being in nature. Because of last December’s devastating floods, only a tuk tuk or a smallish car could manage the last kilometre or so at the time, and we walked it a few times. We were glad the road was almost fixed. I bet it’ll all be fine for anyone reading after February 2026. I loved our stay and would come back if I’m in Sri Lanka again.

The balcony views are amazing, and the food was delicious and worth the price. The kind staff made sure we had what we needed. This is a one-of-a-kind property in the hills near Kandy, and I’d highly recommend a visit if you’re nearby.

The spa treatments were wonderful, and I’ve never felt so relaxed. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the food was amazing. Staff were super friendly from the moment we arrived and made us feel welcome. The whole villa has such a peaceful feel, perfect for getting away from town noise and switching off. A proper mind-and-body recharge.

We spent eight blissful days here in August 2025, in the Knuckles mountain range above Kandy, Sri Lanka. The resort itself feels out of this world, but the staff are what really made the stay: genuinely kind and attentive to everything we needed, without ever being overbearing. We’re spellbound by this unique place and hope to return again and again soon. Highly recommend it to conscientious travelers looking for serenity, health, and spirituality, and a chance to recharge mind, body, and soul.
