The room wasn't very large, but it was comfortable, and the place was clean and nice. With nothing nearby, it's quiet. Getting there is a challenge because it's at the top of a hill, even our Tuk Tuk struggled a bit. The owners are friendly, but they turn in early, so we couldn't reach them later in the evening. We'd forgotten to ask for the WiFi password at check-in. When we got back around 8 pm, they were asleep and the phone was disconnected.

The owners were really kind and helpful. We had a lovely stay in a clean, tidy and fancy house, in a quiet and safe-feeling setting. It's about a 10-minute walk up a small hill. For an extra $6 USD, breakfast was wonderful.

My wife and I spent a night there when we took the train to Kandy for our first wedding anniversary. Since we were traveling by train, we needed somewhere to stay, and we booked online because foreign visitors had left good reviews. But as local guests, we didn't have a good experience. We weren't welcomed warmly, and the one staff member wasn't friendly or helpful. I wonder why.

We hardly saw the other guests, so the kitchen, veranda and living room felt like they were all ours. The house is split into two rooms. We stayed for five days, and our hosts were very pleasant, responsive and helpful. It's an easy walk to the train and bus stops. The place was clean and bright, and, especially for Kandy, wonderfully quiet.
