The hosts were very friendly, but the stay had some real problems. At 8 am there was loud music and someone drilling into the wall next to our room. The rooms felt old, and the mattresses were old too, just 180 cm (6 ft) long. The shower only stayed warm for about a minute.

I arrived late and booked through booking.com for 3,150 rupees. The neighborhood was quite nice, and the place had a great view of the hills. It was two blocks from the lack, with downtown about a 10-15 minute walk away. I wasn't given WiFi access, and the shower pressure was so poor that showering was difficult. The area is good, but I wouldn't stay here again.

The room had a nice view, though it was a little cramped. The place felt homely, but there’s plenty that could be improved. The water upstairs is a problem that needs fixing.

There’s a large living room and a kitchen guests can use whenever they like, and the room had plenty of space for two. The staff were nice, and the location is quite good. The bed felt too soft and uncomfortable to me, the toilet needs refurbishment, and water was scarce. The WiFi passwords didn’t work.

The sign for playpen off sangaraja mawatha will help you find the right street. It’s a characterful place, with lovely owners who were really friendly, and a lovely dog too.
