The food was delicious, and the place had a nice view with a quiet feel. We went on a Sunday night and it wasn't crowded, so it worked well for hanging out with family or friends. Service took longer than we expected, though, and after our order was taken we had to change it because some items weren't available.

It's a very peaceful, laid-back neighbourhood, with around 280 homes and bungalows. There are also shared facilities like a clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, and a playground.

It would be a wonderful place to live or spend a holiday, but it seems to have more power and water cuts than anywhere else in the country. The managers at the Water Supply and Drainage Board and the Ceylon Electrical Board still haven't found a fix for it, or maybe they don't want to.

The bungalow itself was basic, and there was no Wi-Fi. We booked without being told about any restrictions, then learned after arriving by bus that buses couldn't enter. We asked if ours could come in just long enough to unload our bags and leave, especially since we had a baby with us, but security was unkind and refused. We ended up hiring another van to carry us and our luggage to the bungalow. With so many better and more reasonably priced places around, I don't think I'd choose this one again.
