The Dorwin Heights

We really liked the little sitting spot outside our room, and the view through the window was beautiful. The room itself was roomy and very well maintained. Our hosts were so helpful, greeting us with a delicious cold banana shake. I’m sure I’ll stay here again when I’m back 😁

The staff made the stay feel relaxed and welcoming, and they were friendly throughout. Any request was handled quickly and with real care, while check-in and check-out went smoothly. The rooms were spotless and spacious, with thoughtful decor and amenities that felt both elegant and homey. The Dorwing Heights in Kandy brought together comfortable rooms, attentive service, and warm hospitality. I’d happily recommend it to visitors coming to Kandy for work or a holiday.

Our Deluxe Room had a balcony we really enjoyed, a lovely view, a comfortable bed, room to unpack our backpacks, and a clean, new bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were quick, attentive, and friendly. They worked hard to make our three nights relaxing, with especially warm hospitality that made us feel cared for. The Dorwin Heights is brand new, though some parts are still under construction. The surrounding area was recovering from the recent cyclone, and we could see landslides, but the roads had all been cleared and we didn’t feel the effects during our stay. It’s a comfortable, peaceful spot above the busy city.

From the top floor observation deck, you get a breathtaking view of the Kandy skyline and plenty of great photo spots. The staff are courteous and happy to help you find your way around the property and city. The themed rooms have lots of space and are kept tidy, with owners who’ve clearly thought through the details and amenities. It’s a beautiful, clean property in the Kandy hills. There are also accessibility options, including wheelchair-friendly ramps to the washroom, so contact the manager for more information. A lovely place to stay.
