Vishwa Retreat Kandy

The city centre is about a 15-20 minute walk, or 5-10 minutes by tuk tuk. Staff were polite and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. We had no issues at all and I’d happily use this hotel again.

We spent six nights here during our month in Sri Lanka, and it suited us perfectly. The quiet setting and peaceful view were lovely, and the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the centre, which worked well for us. I was working remotely, so the fast internet and spacious, clean, well-equipped room made things easy. The stay was comfortable, worry-free, and affordable. Service was excellent throughout, the staff were genuinely lovely, and the chef made exactly the meals we were craving. I’d happily stay again.

The staff were warm and attentive from the moment I arrived, and they did a lot to make my stay comfortable. My room was spacious, carefully designed, and very clean, with a bed that made for a restful night. The amenities were excellent and covered everything I needed. It was a hotel experience that went beyond what I expected.

The room was big, spotless, and peaceful, and the food and service showed real attention to detail. A big thank you to Anog, Chamindu the chef, Chamara, Sachin, and the rest of the friendly staff for making our stay so lovely. The owner was helpful and understanding when we had questions. Vishwa Retreat Kandy is well located, a good distance from everywhere, and worth the money. We recommend coming here to experience Sri Lankan hospitality. 10/10, and we hope to visit again soon.
