We had a comfortable two-day stay in this homely place for a great price. It’s close to amenities and about a 4-5Km drive from Kandy, with buses to the city running at regular intervals. There are hot showers, though the two rooms share a bathroom. The other room wasn’t booked, so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was spacious, with a large sitting and dining area, satellite TV, a garden and a big balcony for sitting outside. The lady in charge was lovely and helpful. We visited during Perahera season, when the rate was only Rs 2500/-, compared with much higher prices then elsewhere. It would be even cheaper on other days. I’d recommend it to families wanting a homely base while visiting Kandy.

Upstairs there are two rooms for rent, both clean, with a shared bathroom. There’s a living area with a TV, and it’s a nice, quiet place. Parking is limited to one car or van.
