The four chicken fried rice we ordered were disappointing and not worth the price. They looked like plain white rice with only a few vegetables and hardly any chicken, and they weren’t tasty. I’d asked how long the order would take and was told 20 minutes. Since I was in a rush and might go elsewhere, they then said 10 minutes, but handed it over after just five. When we opened it later, the poor preparation was obvious.

The peaceful, beautiful setting close to nature made this a lovely place to stay. The team arranged a guide to take us around the nearby village and waterfalls, which was a special experience. Staff were kind and helpful and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Manager Asiri and chef Chamara deserve a big thank you. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was top notch throughout our two days. Everything about the stay felt perfect. I really appreciate the warm service and recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

We had booked three months ahead and called on the day to say we were coming, but when we arrived around 7 pm some rooms still hadn’t been cleaned. The rooms were dirty, with gecko droppings and ants everywhere, and hot water didn’t work in some of them. The kettles were rusty too. We repeatedly asked for the swimming pool lights to be turned on, but were ignored. Dinner was another problem. The charge felt unfair, and the vegetable salad we’d been promised would have plenty of vegetables contained only gherkins and onions. Even though we ordered as they instructed, there wasn’t enough food for everyone, and they didn’t provide drinking water after the meal. Customer service was very poor. It was a terrible hotel experience.

The setting is pretty, the food was tasty, and the staff were friendly. We visited the pool and restaurant. The pool wasn’t clean at first, but one of the staff boys cleaned it very quickly. You can BYOB, and they have their own bar. Prices were reasonable, though the pool fee seemed too high compared with western. They did reduce the pool access fee. Highly recommended.

The pool smelled really bad and hadn’t been cleaned. Food service was late and disorganized, and everything felt shockingly overpriced. We felt ignored and disrespected, with no care or hospitality from the staff, who showed no professionalism. Nothing about the stay felt welcoming or worth the money. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I regret choosing this place.
