Breakfast was served each morning in the garden patio, a lovely way to begin the day, and Fonseka and the staff did everything they could to make us comfortable. We had a marvelous stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with amazing views over town. It’s a lovely old-style place with a warm welcome. Best wishes and many thanks to you all.

The owner and staff took great care of us, and breakfast was excellent, with a different local dish each day. The house has just eight rooms and is about a 20-minute walk from the city centre, along a pleasant route beside Kandy lake. A very nice place to stay in Kandy. We highly recommend it.

The owner greeted me by name at my car, arranged a tuctuc right away, suggested somewhere to eat, and looked after me throughout my visit. The jungle and temple views are lovely, and the quiet hotel has large, clean rooms. Breakfast was full of fresh, healthy local fruit and cuisine. This place is a real gem, and I wish I’d planned to stay longer. It really is a sophisticated stay.

The view is magic, and the peaceful location is a real plus. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with outstanding service. The rooms are fantastic and very comfortable. If you’re in Kandy, this hotel is a must and well worth a stay.

We’d happily come back. The freshly made onion chutney at breakfast was fantastic, and everything we ate was very tasty. The owner was nice, the staff were friendly, and the lovely house was clean and beautifully decorated. The rooms had everything we needed. A perfect place to begin our travels in Sri Lanka.
