The misty mountain ranges and river views, along with the relaxing atmosphere, made my stay at Mahaweli Regent Hotel, Kandy, an excellent experience. I also really appreciated the cleanliness, comfortable rooms, rich and yummy meals, and the attentive, friendly staff. My sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the stay memorable. Keep up the great work. I hope to enjoy the same sweet experience again, and would definitely recommend Mahaweli Regent Hotel for a relaxing getaway. A beautiful, quiet, relaxing location made this hotel an ideal vacation spot. The rooms were excellent, clean, and lovely, the food was excellent, and the friendly staff gave superb customer service. Everything felt perfect. I had an amazing time on my first visit and will definitely go again.

The rooftop view is mesmerizing, and from some rooms you can see the Mahaweli River. It’s a calm, quiet place that works well for a stay with friends or family.

I felt alone there, like I was in a horror place. The room was dusty and dirty, there was no Wi-Fi, and nobody was around when we arrived or helped with the luggage. The location is really bad, up on a mountain and far away. Don’t go there. There’s another five-star hotel with a similar name, Mahaweil reach hotel, so be careful not to confuse it with Mahaweli Regent. This was a very bad hotel.
