The meals were one of the highlights of my trip, sumptuous and beautifully presented, with an authentic feel. De Mansion Hotel also offered great value, and the staff showed genuine Sri Lankan hospitality, going out of their way to make me comfortable. I spent two nights there and found my room spotless and well maintained. The hotel is peaceful, away from the bustle of Kandy’s town center, but still easy to reach and well placed for exploring the area. I’d happily stay again.

The friendly crew and on-time service made for a really good stay, and the hotel was budget-friendly. The rooms were good, too. Breakfast was amazing, with delicious, authentic Sri Lankan village-style food. Highly recommend.

It’s a good spot for a relaxing stay, 9/10. Staff were among the friendliest I’ve met and checked in from time to time to see if I was comfortable. My room was spacious, clean and had all the facilities I needed. I only tried breakfast, but it was served beautifully and I loved it. The rooftop pool isn’t very big, but it was enjoyable, and there’s a rooftop area to hang out in.
