The meals were the highlight for us. Shamila cooked dinner and breakfast, and they were the best local food we tried on our whole trip in Sri Lanka. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean, and the view was fantastic. Nihal and Shamila were so kind and helpful, always looking after what we needed and making us feel at home. This place is well worth staying at. Highly recommended.

The dinners and breakfasts were both delicious, and the food here is fantastic. The house is peaceful in the hills by Kandy, but easy to reach by tuktuk or taxi. I loved the balcony view, and the room was comfortable and very clean.

The family running Peaceful Peak were so, so kind and friendly. They made fresh, homemade breakfasts and dinners with a range of dishes, and they were the best meals. As a solo traveler from Switzerland, that made the experience especially special for me. My room was very clean and had a balcony with a beautiful view of the city and the nature around the guesthouse. A wonderful stay, and I’d recommend it to everyone.

Breakfast had a lovely mix of local flavors, and the room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with thoughtful little touches. We could hear nature around us and look out from the balcony at greenery and misty hills. From the warm welcome onward, we felt very well cared for. Peaceful Peak really is a quiet, beautiful escape in the Kandy hills. We left with great memories and would highly recommend it.
