For a three-star hotel, this was a really good stay. The room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were helpful and polite. We had A/C, a TV, hot-water shower, tea and coffee corner in the room, and parking. Breakfast didn’t have many choices, but it tasted good. We were satisfied and would recommend it.

A good hotel with clean rooms that suit a family trip, and the staff were well behaved. The location is a bit remote, though, and you have to go quite a distance to find food.

The first night at this nice little hotel was fine. By morning, breakfast was disappointing, with very few options. After we went out for the day and returned, the bedding was still the same instead of being changed to fresh, clean bedding. There was also water leaking in the toilet. A few small improvements could make a big difference.

The view was incredibly beautiful, and our room at Sobaya Kandy was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly throughout, and we felt welcome the whole stay. The location worked perfectly for us, with the Temple of the Tooth within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious too. I highly recommend Sobaya Kandy to anyone visiting Kandy, and I’ll definitely come back.
