Sujatha's Homestay Residence

A peaceful place to recharge, set well away from the main roads. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with private bathrooms and basic but quite sufficient furniture. There's a small, lovely, well-kept yard full of greenery, and the surrounding area is green too. It's not far from central Kandy, and the friendly hosts can arrange a tuk-tuk or taxi for trips farther away. The hosts are warm and helpful, and happy to share information about Kandy and Sri Lanka, including historical sights, food, and everyday life. The host has an artistic side, so you won't be bored. There's also a small Buddhist temple nearby, about 500-600 meters away.
