We booked through booking.com, but when we got there, the people in the house said they were expecting someone else. I think the owner lives in the USA, so communication was impossible. After a long trip to Kandy, we'd spent time and energy getting there and lost money too. We did manage to reach the owner through the people at the house, but she didn't seem to care about our situation at all. I'd suggest booking somewhere with an actual reception and staying away from this place.
