We got good value for money here, with a great location in Kandy. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with lovely views across the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers a solid standard. A good choice for a stay in Kandy.

The hillside location was just right for us, close to Kandy's centre and easy to reach by taxi or tuck-tuk, but quiet enough to get away from the bustle and hear the city in the background. Our room was spotless, comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed, including a kettle, tea, coffee, and a fridge. We also had a superb view over the edge of the lake. The owners welcomed us warmly, and service was excellent throughout our three nights. Dinner there every night was delicious and beautifully presented, and breakfast was excellent and substantial too. We loved staying at Blinkbonnie Inn and would happily come back. Thanks to everyone for such lovely memories of Kandy. 🙏

We had a terrace with a beautiful view, and the room was clean. The staff were very helpful and gave us lots of tips about what to see in Kandy. Breakfasts were amazing, and our host told us stories about the local food they served. Parking and arriving late were both no problem. We stayed three nights and would highly recommend it.

We were in Kandy for the Kandy Esala Perahera weekend, when accommodation prices were, as expected, a little above the Sri Lankan average. This property cost us around €60 a night, but the service was quite limited, with no room cleaning and almost no reception management, and cleanliness could have been better. Breakfast was just average, and the place is presented as more “premium” than it felt. Some areas were still under construction, and from our room we saw boilers and scaffolding before getting a glimpse of the mountains. One nice surprise was that this was the only place in Sri Lanka where we could pay by credit card instead of cash. I'd rate it 6/10.
