I honestly would return to Kandy just to stay at King’s Pavilion again. The staff made us feel at home, always smiling and ready to help, and we felt genuinely cared for. Manager Malintha and restaurant manager Hansika were especially thoughtful and went above and beyond. Each morning brought a different breakfast, elaborate and delicious, with the curries a highlight. Housekeeping kept our room spotless, and we came back each day to a new towel animal. The resort felt private and pristine, like a little sanctuary tucked into nature. Our room was beautiful, spacious and calming, and waking up there each morning was a dream.

We arrived as the cyclone hit Sri Lanka and disrupted things across the country. The team did everything they could to make us feel safe, cared for, and at home, more like family than guests. They even arranged a cooking class so we had something enjoyable to do indoors, which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. Every person we met was extraordinary. I want to thank Malintha, Hansika, Maithroe, Tharindu, Dharshana and Pradeep personally. I feel genuinely honoured to have stayed at King’s Pavilion. It’s a wonderful place run by a wonderful group of people, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

The staff were courteous and always ready to help, and the resort itself is beautiful. We only had one night, but I did get to enjoy a lovely bath in the Queens Suite. It's up the hill, but we walked back from Kandy centre, so the location worked well.

Up in Bahirawa Kanda, Kandy, this luxury boutique hotel has 8 rooms and an amazing view of the city. The infinity pool was nice and clean. They serve authentic food with fresh fruits, and the staff are friendly.

Loved this stunning hotel and its setting. It's up in the hills, a little outside the centre, so it's beautifully peaceful, and the staff were great. Such a treat.
