We had a room with a balcony and a good view. The fried rice with chicken was a generous portion, though food prices were a little higher than I expected, and it’s a good place for a family hangout. The staff are very friendly, and both the room and bathroom were super clean. I’m giving three stars because the bathroom door won’t close, there’s no towel hanger inside, and although the window is tinted, people can see in from outside at night.

Food prices are very high, the kitchen isn’t clean, and there seem to be expensive hidden charges. They add a 10% service charge to everything, including rooms, water bottles, and meals, but this wasn’t mentioned upfront. I’d avoid dining here. The caretaker was absent much of the time, and we had trouble getting into the locked property. When we called, sometimes we had to wait for him to arrive. Other times, we were told to enter through a broken window and unlock the place ourselves.

The balcony scenery was the best part of our one-night stay. It’s calm and quiet, and the room was comfortable and clean. The host was friendly and a good fellow, but there was an issue with the hot water. If you book through booking.com, ask him about the fee. There wasn’t an additional charge, though he claimed there was.

Getting up to the hotel isn’t easy, and you always need a three wheeler, but it’s absolutely worth it for the great view. The owner is lovely and helps however he can. Some rooms have a built-in window right behind the bed, so you can enjoy the view from inside.
