The mountain breeze made sitting out on the balcony in the evening with a cool beer especially relaxing after a tiring day. The place is cozy, with a nice mountain view, comfortable rooms, and a very clean attached bathroom. My breakfast was delicious, and the host was friendly and welcoming. All the attractions are an easy distance away. I was lucky that the owner was there during my stay. They were very friendly, had travelled themselves, and gave me useful advice for the rest of my journey.

The rooftop terrace and balcony had amazing views, and having breakfast up on the roof was a real pleasure. Set in the hills, the place was peaceful, with the sound of the beautiful Mahawile river in the early morning. The location is convenient and felt safe, around 3 km from the botanical gardens. The Prestige Villa is a true gem in Kandy, with a tranquil setting, new spacious rooms that were clean and comfortable, excellent food, and an incredibly welcoming host. We'd definitely return if we're in Kandy again.
